How do we use your information?
The information we collect from you can be used in one of the following ways:
Do you share information about your donors?
We will not sell, trade or share a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations unless you, the donor, have given us specific permission to do so. We will maintain your subscription to any of our other publications or notices you elect to receive.
How do I manage my subscriptions?
You can unsubscribe from receiving email messages from us. Simply follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any of our emails or send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org with unsubscribe in the subject line.
Visitors to our site who nominate or donate will automatically be opted-in to receive email messages. You may opt-out after you receive your confirmation message, but we will not be responsible for any undeliverable notifications or updates about possible awards or acceptance.
Do the privacy protections exist for Soldier’s Wish online community?
It is important to understand that the information you submit in message boards, blogs, chat rooms, and user groups is publicly displayed. People and organizations not related to Soldier’s Wish will see your messages and may try to contact you. As a result, you should be careful about the information that you publish online. Because these unrelated parties will also see your “User Name” on any postings that you make in online discussions, you may want to use your first name only, or use an assumed name.
